| 18 Apr 2006 | Lisa Lindsay | Hey, welcome to the woods. You've got a great gallery started already. I like the archer girl. You rock at the armour... did u invent it out of your head or did u have to use some pics as referance? Well keep on awsomeing! Adam D. Swangler replies: "Thank you very much for the welcom =) The archer girl is my favorite as well, actually. I came up with her armor myself. I hope to get some more pics up and stuff soon." | |

| 26 Jul 2006 | Marina "MashPotato" Siu-Chong | Nice gallery, your characters have a nice solid feeling to them. I can also see that you put effort into making nice folds in cloth--it's a small, but often overlooked thing ^_^. Anyway, keep up the good work, and welcome to Bifrost! Adam D. Swangler replies: "Thank you very much! I have always tried to get better with cloth folds, it's something that's always impressed me in the anime style." | |
| 1 Aug 2006 | Barbara J. Wickham | You have quite the skill with graphite. I love the clean lines and solid shading, which is a great style for the kind of characters you draw. I hope you continue to challenge yourself on the action poses and fine-tuning on the anatomy. Welcome to Bifrost! Adam D. Swangler replies: "Thank you very much, I intend to continue challenging myself as much as I can." | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Elena Kapulnik | Your artwork is beautiful. Its nice to see the women characters wearing real clothing instead of being nude all the time. I like the fact that the ladies in your pics do not have huge breasts. All the weaponry and armour looks great. Adam D. Swangler replies: "Eheheh, thanks very much! I try to portray women in as tasteful a manner as I can, cause a lot of male artists, especially anime artists, take flack for drawing a bunch of nearly-naked warrior girls. Personally I've never cared for the super-tiny-chainmail-bikini look, I usually try to make both weapons and armor look functional first and cool second. That said there's certainly something to be said for purposely drawing supercliches every now and then. Anyways, thanks for the comment!" | |
