The narwhal's tusk is a tooth, so I think it shouldn't grow out from the middle of its forehead but more from the upper lip. (By the way, an adult narwhal is something like 4-5 m long and strewn with an irregular dark pattern, but I acknowledge that this is a fantasy picture  You might want to check out the photo gallery of http://www.narwhal.info, an old site but apparently with the best narwhal photos on the web. Apart from the nuances of narwhal anatomy, this picture is a treat to the eye. Excellent colours and overall atmosphere.thank you for the link and info. yes, this is rather fantastical representation, as i tried to portray them as the unicorns some fantasize them to be. tho i may try to incorporate more realistic ones later. thank you for your comments^^ | |
