Great lighting! It looks amost like the air is dusty and all the dust reflects the sunlight. Great work at his anatomy too.

Very nice piece. Indeed very nice. I like how you didn't just colour dark this darkness... it seems-- frosty! Like the coldness of the act about to take place. I like your guy too-- he means business!

when your eyes are brought into sudden darkness, after having been ajusted in light, you often see shadows of light. the "crazy medical people of the modern world" call this temparary blindness. the same thing happens when in sudden light. this picture shows is wonderfully; you can see the movement he had just made, tensing against the column.....waiting.

Wow, have you ever read the Death Gate Cycle? This really reminds me of Hugh the Hand, after he shaved all his hair off. Its a very cool picture, and lives up to the authors bold and detailed descriptions of him!

I think you have done something very special here and that's creating the illusion that true danger is around the corner. He has all the makings as a killer waiting in the wings and your unique ability to set create a dark mood also helps to add to the overall suspense of the image. This one reminds me of the Sniper pic that you did in your SCI-FI gallery.
