"Bat Boy" by Michelle K Roach

This was for my children's book illustration class. I was given the title Bat Boy and was told to have fun. I cam up with this story of this scientist couple who were not able to have children and in the process of creating a little boy some other genectics became involved and out popped Jack the bat boy, half bat and half boy. He has the ability to fly and craves figgy cookies. His best friend lives next door and they go on many adventures mostly trying to keep Jack a secret so he isn't taken away from his parents who love him dearly despite the oddities....Done as a cover illustration. I'm in the process of writing the story and hope to have it sent to some publishers some time next year.
