  | I honestly knew nothing about disney's upcoming venture when is started this illustration. Chosing from the fairy tales i picked the frog prince. I was tired of seeing the same old blonde princess and the green frog and in my research picked a more ancient mayan/aztec feel. The princess is crying because her precious gold ball has fallen down the well in the middle of the garden. This oddly colored tree frog promises to get her the ball if she will let him live with her. This was the only color illustration i did for the class. The rest of the story was just line work that was turned into a dummy book for publishers. copyright 2009, michelle roach |
