Done as a portrait of my father. Yes he is santa claus [google rocky mountain santa]

acrylic underpainting done in umber and the oil painting glazed on top 18x24.

Here is Santa Clause about to leave presents for good girls and boys, but shhhhh woudln't want to wake any of the others up would you? That's what the jolly old elf's laugh and magical reindeer are for....
