This is really cool, you got some nice contrasty light coming in from the corner, but I think the effect would've been cooler if there was just a smidgen more intensity in the light. The whole thing looks a little too washed out. And you actually managed to put text on the scroll! One time I did a project where I had the camera looking over the shoulder of a cloaked mage reading out of his spellbook, and lemme tell ya... getting that text to look just right is a LOT harder than it looks! >_< Some goemetric cuts in the sides of the scroll would have made the paper feel more real though... but there I go being nitpicky again.  Iacovos Kyriakides replies: "The entire room was lit by 3 candles that's why it's so dark. Its a Drow Stronghold so the human character was lucky to get any light at all! =P" | |
