I've always had a fondness for zombies. I think I just like the way you can draw such awkward sort of movements for them.Anyways, this one started out as a doodle, but I liked him so much, I had to finish it.

heh... my first thought was "Break dancing zombie!!!" nice shading the skin hanging off his chest and exposing some bone was a very nice touch. I can't critisize you... i can't imagine your drawings getting any better... but they probably will.

Your arm is way too long

:-) Iain Scott Davis replies: "yeah, I noticed that, but I kind of liked the way it accented his awkward pose. Besides, I didn't feel like drawing it again."

He *does* look like he is break dancing! I love that shoe, and the long arm is perfect for him, it makes him seem really dead, and not just dead and not rotting. 2 Are you sure you want to go to art school, you have such a great style right here all by yourself (I sound like an echo for Randy). I am sure there are pros and cons to art school, and good luck if it is really what you want to do. 2

:-) Iain Scott Davis replies: "Thanks for defending my silly over-long arm. Anybody else reading this, if you like comics, go check out her gallery, she's got some great stuff in there, in a very cool old comic book type style."

I'm going to defend the long arm,if you look you'll see the shoulder(his left )is parallel with his right hand,a human hand normally stops mid thigh, the zombies legs are splayed and bent,so the hand would go pass mid thigh (which it is)..........And i still think your pics are sssooo good they don't need background(when your a top artist get the apprentice to do the background),sorry to disagree with you and nathan ...but this just is my opinion :0)

I am digging the ripped up flannel. I wonder why zombies never have any fashion sense... As with your other stuff the shading in this is top notch, and his face is so expressive! Really cool.

12 Iain Scott Davis replies: "I think when your conciousness has been obliterated, and replaced by the all consuming, and insatiable desire for human brain matter, color coordinating somehow becomes pretty low on your priorities list"

Wow, I love this one. Well, art school is cool, do it, nobody can go to artschool and leave empty handed, plus, if you can make a background look phat with that pic infront it could get reaaally cool(as the pic is now). Plus if you go to artschool you probably draw even more witch means I get to see more from you12 (selfish)
