Ian Plumb

Ian Plumb

Ian found as a student that the only subject he had a knack for was English. Having left the pigeon-hole of "student" half a lifetime ago writing these days is simply for pleasure. These stories are very loosely based on the characters and events from a role-playing game that our gaming group played between 2001 and 2005. If you've played an RPG then you'll know that these games seldom follow the kind of narrative that a work of fiction requires. So I've taken the events that transpired and the characters that were involved in those events and I've worked them into something approaching a coherent tale. Many of the events in these stories never actually transpired in the game -- they've been added to flesh out the story and give the characters greater depth and influence.

Writing is a great pleasure best done often and in small doses.

I’ve enjoyed my stay. I’ll be back to read more later.

:-) Ian Plumb replies: "Many thanks for popping by Patricia. The stories get better around Chapter 18 and onwards."

Thanks for tagging me as a favorite. I’m really enjoying your story as well. I have a question. Does this work have an overall title? I’d like to mention your story on my title page, but I’m not sure what to call it.

:-) Ian Plumb replies: "You are welcome!
These chapters form part of "The Chronicle of The Players of Cartélan." There are actually a lot of chapters from before this time that I haven’t bothered putting up. There’s another forty already written that I’ll start putting up soon. The first 48 chapters form the first complete story, "The Assault of the Whitespore." I haven’t named the second story yet."

Just stopping by to say hello, Ian. Thanks for tagging me as a favorite and taking the time to read my story. I’ll plan to delve into your story very soon!

:-) Ian Plumb replies: "Thanks for stopping by Chris. I’ve read your comments on Patricia’s stories -- and that led inexorably to a visit to your library. "
