I can't draw @#&%*$ feet. Again, this is awesome! *does her special personal one-person first-comment tango with traditional trip as she tries to swirl herself over* Ilana R. MacDonald replies: "Hourra for the first commenter! Anywho, I think this one is fun too... I'm eventually going to work on a coloured version, I hope."

The pose is also somewhat complicated, but you pulled it off quite nicely. It doesn't look artificial or awkward, which is sometimes the case with non-standard poses. Kudos! Ilana R. MacDonald replies: "Yay! Well, I was strangely pleased when I did this one, oh so long ago, when I was on a trip to Nova Scotia... But that's a story for another day. But, yeah, I'm glad you like it!"

When King Croesus(died c.546 B.C.)asked if he should invade Persia(modern-day Iran),she said that if he did,a mighty empire would fall. Expecting victory,he invaded-but it was his own empire that was destroyed. Ilana R. MacDonald replies: "I don't think she was supposed to be an oracle, but thanks for the info anyway!"

Here, within the temple of Apollo, the Greek god of prophecy, was a narrow opening within the earth. Inside, on a tripod above the fissure, sat the oracle herself in a trance. She was consulted by kings and warriors, who gave great wealth to the shrine.
