SciFi and Fantasy Art Tree Nymph by Ilana R. MacDonald


	This is an early photoshop image that turned out well, considering how little experience I had with the program. It's a tree nymph emerging from her... err... tree... at sunset. This is done with Adobe Photoshop 5.

Severin	Loading... does the first comment happydance Nice pic with the contralight thingy, I am too lazy to make backgrounds myself and I work with pencil but this is a great pic indeed, and very poetic Ilana R. 1 Oct 2003	Merran Eby	Loading... Mwahahahaaa! I know where you live too! . . .blinks At any rate, this is my favourite pic of yours so far. Well, after the Yoda one, but that's more FanQuarterish, I suppose. Isn't it great how silhouettes always look so good? Love the background, I can't do them very wellkills the backgrounds Ilana R. MacDonald replies: "You know what? the background was by far the easiest part. I just used the gradient tool, drew the silhouette and added really not bright lens flares for the stars. I'm sure you could do it too!"

I think this is my favorite -- after the Elf Lady, of course, because it is the first of your work that I saw. =0) Ilana R. MacDonald replies: "This is my favorite too! My easiest and yet most successful work on Adobe!"

15 Jan 2006	B_Mouse.	Loading... Oh, that´s so beautiful! It reminds me on something, but I can´t remember what... In any case it´s surely a nice memory, even if I can´t catch it at the moment. ^-^ Ilana R. MacDonald replies: "Well, I'm glad it reminds you of a good memory! Glad you like it."
