SciFi and Fantasy Art Lost your head? by Kristin Lewis

I worked on this piece for several months before finishing it about a month or so ago. It depicts a demon huntress ice elf after lopping off a few demon heads. I realize the anatomy is very overexaggerated; that was intentional, because I was trying out something new. Took about 23 hours in colored pencil. and black ballpoint pen. Edit: I have uploaded a better, clearer version of this piece. Touching up and the border was done in photoshop.

2 Jul 2006	H.M. ´Alang´ Muhammad Hanif	Loading... Hmm... Piano wire is not really my cup of tea for beheadings, but this is another novel concept for me... Might I suggest a few heads rolling about? Hehe... Kristin Lewis replies: "Umm... It's actually not a piano wire... A wire nonetheless, but I imagined it being as sharp as a samurai sword, as thin as thread, and as strong and light as mythril. But, a small mistake, and it's mostly my fault because of the awful quality. I'll be doing more work with this character, and actually I'm reuploading this picture because I'm extremely unhappy with the quality. It's too blurry and you can't really see what's going on, so I took some pictures last night more 'up close and personal'. Maybe in the next piece she'll be holding a decapitated demon head or something more gory. Thanks again! "
