Born the daughter of a Nobleman, and as such, she was pampered beyond all imagination. Everything she wanted, her father would invariably provide in a moment's notice -- that is, of course, except anything that might be of any interest (and concequently, danger) to her. How often as a little girl she had wandered from her room to explore the house (which was quite vast -- she never did finish that endeavor) or tried to greet the scarred, working men she saw when her father took her into the village. These sorts of things her father did not tolerate -- and his intolerance was more than she could bear. One day, she asked him for a long, silken rope -- which he happily provided. She then asked him for the key to her window -- which he gave her. Finally she asked that there be no gaurds posted outside her room that night. Her father, not being the most intelligent man in the world, agreed to this. How shocked he was (if you can imagine) to discover the next day that she was gone, her window open, and a silken rope hanging from it.
Adventures, of course, ensued.
