This one is supposed to be lyrics, just haven't done the music yet...thought I'd put it here...please tell me what you think it means, so I know if I have to give it a name...or if it's satifying enough to stay vague and mystical...

In a valley beyond shadows

Light is springing from its tops

It is passing through the meadows

And is silent, then it stops

It’s a vision in the twilight

“Please proceed” I want to cry

seeing darkness in the daylight

of the future, I rely…

Hail, thy virtue of the longing

Hail, thy banner of regret

Always present, everlasting

Without thee I will be daunt

If my mind won’t longer heed you

you will leave a brewing threat

growing stronger than it used to

my world then will soon turn gaunt

When the density of the matter

Overflowing every sense

Will befog me, be the better

Take this evil from my hands

In that valley, when I endeavor

It’s the only light that’s there

It will follow me wherever

It will always be as fair

I hate titles, really I do. I hate giving titles to stories and I sometimes hate titles given to stories. They give away so many secrets. I like the secrecy you kept here, the mystery along with those wonderfull discribtions of you. Is it about wind, is it about love? Who can say. Nobody can, nobody but your own soul shall declare the meaning for you. I wonder...would anyone be able to guess what this one is about?

Simple! It's about a young fish-warrior off to do battle with the Imaginary Nether-Forces of . . . wait, it isn't? ^^;; (Sorry, I promise, no more silliness.) I'm intrigued; what kind of music goes with this? Slower, somewhat lonesome comes to mind . . . any instruments in particular? It's really good - better than most poetry I've ever laid eyes on. I won't attempt to spoil it by offering a title - a title should come naturally (or in my case, out of desperation. 12 )

I have a great deal of respect for poets who can keep the meeter
music already exists in these words
