The Angel? -picture has to be my favourite - one has to like the etching-like quality - but the winged mouse is just soooo sweet! Keep up the good work! Malin Hedström replies: "Thanks you, I'm very happy with the effect in that picture too. It does look more like an etching or a copper-plate print. You have a nice gallery yourself!"

It's nice that you use so many different mediums, you're great with the acrylic (the transparent effect you achieved in your "spirit-stair"-pic is stunning!) and the watercolors(the contrasts between highlights and shades). Not to forget your work with hobby color on wood and your color pencil-pic (in which you did a very good job on the lightening effects!) But what impress on me most is what you create with the ball point-pen! (I have to try that!) You also have many different styles, the dragon frames are very unique and interesting. I think your art is GREAT and that you're very creative! Have got a lot of inspiration from you! Bra jobbat! Malin Hedström replies: "Thanks for a long and nice comment! I'm trying to use a little of each. It's boring to get stuck with only one method and I'm still trying to find My own style that I'm comfortable with. Maybe I'm meant to vary myself. Many have commented the transparency on "Spirit Stairs" I'm amazed it's visible in this small lousy photo I like decorating things now and then instead of only using paper too. I haven't tried this with ballpoint pen too much myself either, but found out you can do good shading with it. Just a risk of using up the pens fast It's always nice to hear that people get inspired from my work! I get much of my inspiration from other elfwood people."

There's something mysterious, but still a chaotic calm about it. Malin Hedström replies: "Thank you! I put much of my work in trying to get light and shadows look right. Even if there's some small mistake with anatomy or other parts of the picture, a good lightwork can draw the attention away from that. Little cheat I liked drawing House Baenre pretty much but in the end I was a little irritated with the time pressure and the long time it took =)"

| 25 Nov 2006 | Michelle Tolo | Loading...Hi! Wonderful gallery you've got here, I really enjoyed looking through it. The picture of the little fairy-rat awaked some good memories in me; I once had a big rat named Ronny. He's one of the best friends I've ever had, and I could take him everywhere. I never ran away, and he could run around in the house as he wanted to. And when he smelled something interesting, he used to look exactly like the rat in your picture. *sigh* I miss him... Sorry for the long story about my rat, I just got to think of him, hehe Keep up the good work! -Michelle Malin Hedström replies: "Sorry for the late reply and thank you for taking time and leaving a comment! Nice that you like the gallery. That's a nice story about the rat, we couldn't leave ours anywhere in the house since they liked destroying things, but you could let them explore different limited places. Not much updating in the gallery right now, but I'll soon be getting my private site up!" | |

| 15 Mar 2009 | Soķs Máté Gergő | Loading...It seems, DeviantArt is 100 times faster than Elfwood. Seen magicka trees, temple and huts a long time ago and it is only now when I see them on EW. Malin Hedström replies: "Yeah, it is faster since everything gets uploaded instantly without moderation on Deviantart. But I did upload them a little later here as well. I haven’t had them that long on Deviantart either though." | |
