These are truely stuning. Are you sure you don't hang upside down from helicopters and take photos..Lol, Im sorry no seriosly there that magnificent. But do you use photo references??? Oops I forgot...

I hope you won't be disappointed to learn that although I drew the landscape terrains by hand, the majority of the work in creating the image is by a free piece of software called Terragen. I did work hard to create the images, but not in the sense of having to draw every detail in myself."

Woot! Woot! First comment? Woohoo! Cool stuffs you got here. Tell me, do you ever draw people or something besides landscapes?

:-) Neil (iolair) Gratton replies: "Thanks - I'm glad you like them, though I think the next batch (which I'm submitting tomorrow) knocks the socks off these.I do a little pencil drawing of peoples and beasties, and though I'm steadily improving I've not done much (yet) I'm happy to share. I hope that will change as I practice."

wow, cool art. oh, yeah, read ur bio, thats cool you were born in scotland...I LOVE scotland...i was born in SAN DIEGO!!!NO FAIR! =( *pouts* oh yeah, i also play the clarinet, and San diego, in case ur wondering, is in California, on the west coast. BTW welcome to the woods, and keep 'em coming!

This is an interesting gallery you've got here. I'm just a visitor from nest door (I'm also in you're gallery). You're landscaping work is great! You always seem to stay true to Tolkein's descriptions. Cool! Keep it up.
