This is Nova, Stormshadow's father. He is an old, powerful, and mysterious figure. He was the only survivor of the Indigo Purge, the time when all Indigos and their dragons were hunted down and kiled. He is haunted by memories of his soulmate, Aroura Cyrus. She was killed fighting to save a young child from an evil Indogo's crazed dragon. However, she was not killed by the dragon. She was killed by humans, who, seeing her turning Indigo, trying to calm the beast, thought she was controlling it and causing it to kill and destroy. Nova was struck a hard blow as the deep bond between the two of them was suddenly shattered and torn. He went into hiding, and almost never came out.
