Hello everyone at Elfwood!

As many of you may know, I have discontinued working on the Talismen series. There are many reasons for this- some are explained here http://talismen.free-forums.org in the Talismen forum, some are not, but it was just time.

I have begun a new webcomic series that I am quite excited about called Xylia : http://www.drunkduck.com/Xylia I hope you will come visit me there!

Barbara, There are certain things I have to say identify an artist. One is a recognizable style, for example Picasso and Rembrandt had styles that could be easily recognized. You have this sort of style. I really like that when I look at your drawings, you can tell that they come from the same artist. This isn’t to say that there never is variation or even evolution of a style, or experimentation either. It is so nice to see how well you have developed your style. Very nice. I also would like to say that it is a style I enjoy, very clean and pleasing caricaturization. This type of skill is the kind that will get you commissions. ~Bill 20 Sep 2008 Barbara L.
