Tag As FavoriteComment		So after a time studying different kinds of dragons for a commissioned tattoo I just felt like drawing one for myself. I like dragons, but very seldomly draw them, even more rarely it would be in oriental style. So, why not try something different to keep myself amused? And since it was going to be different, I also decided to color it all with Photoshop. I thought about scales, but I liked the kind of saturated color look that it has. I tried to use fire-like colors.

You did a good job making him look like liquid in motion, which gives eastern dragons a certain "feel". I agree that the solid red looks better, i think that scales would have made it too busy. The teal whisker-spikes add a nice tocuh, a bit of contrast from your fire-scheme. Wonderful artwork.

Wow! This is so cool! It's clever to have the background just black so the dragon... well kind a shines! ...If you know what I mean =S Anyway, I really like the colours! Well done ^_^

I love your drawing! It looks great! I am a big fan of dragons and mystical animals so I am glad to see that someone out there enjoys drawing them too. Keep up the great work!
