Irina Goodwin replies: "Ee! Thanks! Though I was rather hoping that each pic I do would turn out better than others... it's all in the artistic progression. Still, it may start getting a bit harder soon if this is the stuff I'm coming out with. Feeling that I've grasped realism I think my next batch of pics will be more on the cartoony side - it's a style I haven't much explored."

And there's something about her that looks different to all the other people you draw. Not sure what it is though. Might be the face or the expression. Dunno. P.s. about the grass, you know you said you used a grass brush? Well did you just take the grass brush and completely cover the ground with it, or did you colour it green first and put the grass brush over it later? Irina Goodwin replies: "I coloured the ground green first and then did the grass brush... or rather I did the grass brush, saw that it left lots of holes and then put another layer underneath which I coloured green. In my defence I tried to vary the shades in the grass more than I usually do."

Irina Goodwin replies: "Hehe, indeed I have a Zone and here it is. It just isn't very popular at the moment. I'm trying to improve on that since I will strive to have a rather big sci-fi update and then will go on a comment spree under my Zone identity. That wshould get me mroe recognised. Anyway, thanks for popping by."

I think it is that the grain of the bark does not turn to follow the branch. Irina Goodwin replies: "Erm... *blushes* yes... I noticed that but... erm... I couldn't fix it. I'm sure a bit more work would have seen it through but I was too lazy. Poor tree."
| 26 Oct 2003 | Anya 'Guimza' Kholodova | Loading...Wow, this is so-ooo cool! I like the character very much (have seen her in M. Edge's gallery) and I absolutely love this picture. Colors, details - everything is wonderful, but her face and hair are just perfect. Great job! By the way, I finally got me a Zone gallery too.. but there is no life in there, only some vampires... Irina Goodwin replies: "Hehe, Vampires is coolie. Glad you like. I was planning to jazz up this gallery a bit but I still haven't got aorund to an upload..." | |

| 2 Nov 2004 | Pixie | Loading...I saw this before and now im seeing it again as i came here by chance looking for zephyrs , the starlit picnic girl is very beautiful and the picture is very appealing i like the bag of gold baubles or coins her chunky bootshoe , and what sets it all off is the bluish bottle of water when i saw that it cracked me up actually the 'bag' of golden tokens could be seen as a cuddly resting dog lying down beside her theres something about this picture i find it quite magical Irina Goodwin replies: "Heehee! A cuddly dog? Hehe. I guess... what an odd conception - so cute though! You see things in a strange way. That's fun. Thanks for the enlightenment. ;p" | |
