Liz,
I have to say I am very impressed by your work. No wonder I haven't seen you in forever...you've been creating excellent pieces of art. I especially like the She-Wolf and Vampire self-portrait. I must commission you to paint a portrait for me this summer if you have the time. Again, I am blown away by these works of art.
The Hit Man

:-) Elizabeth G. Dodd replies: "YAY!!! *loves on her Drew-arino* You also haven't seen me 'cause I've joined a cult... a cult wherein we drink Mug root beer, eat pizza, and play video games... we also skip around in the woods and act like loons. ^_^I don't know how well I would do with painting your portrait. Lizzy no know how to paint realistically. Lizzy also need to talk to e-mail hating 2Z about modeling for Lizzy and possibly Lizzy's painting/ or drawing class (few people). Drew must pass Lizzy's message on to 2Z! Lizzy must also show both Drew and 2Z the shirt she bought from Goodys... funny shirt... Lizzy go now... Lizzy must answer more comments before brother tosses her off of computer. Lizzy loves Drew. Drew love Lizzy? Lizzy want to fling mustard at Drew. Lizzy love mustard.... mmm... mustard.... *runs away so that typing will stop*"

Beautiful work; I just love how you shaded your pictures!
I can't wait to see more from you here; your style is totally unique: you really know how to color & shade in your pictures; the lighting is very well done..
*gets out of negative critic personality which had no choice but to be positive since there isn't anything negative to say..Everything being so artistically inspiring; etc..wow..*
I really like how you do your backgrounds; unlike most people I know personally you really can make simple seam like pro. The detail here is really; really amazing.
*gasps* =_= any chance I can try drawing your front-view noses here? .. lol.. o.o *I stink with front view round-noses & I never thought I'd be happy to actually ask someone for their technique*

2 Elizabeth G. Dodd replies: "My gosh, thank you so so much for your kind words! You've just made my day 1 I cannot even fathom how to respond *lol* I'm speechless! *HUGS* I don't think that my noses are that great, but you can make use of any technique you see that tickles your fancy. I'm trying to be my usually witty self, but all I can do is sit here and look at your comment, then look at the keyboard, and sigh *lol* I'm blown away by your praise. So, I'm afraid you're just going to have to settle with a "THANK YOUUUU!!!" and a big 'ole warm internet hug *lol* Thank you sosossosososososososooooo much! "

Liz, I am too impressed for words! Wonderful work, kiddo! I love the vampire, but then again I love all vamps! Besides, I'm pretty sure I've seen you look like that a time or 2 after a really late night! @;o)

*hugs*
Lisa

9 Elizabeth G. Dodd replies: "Yay!! Lisa!! *glomps* :-p Thanks for the comment.*lol* I know ^_~ late nights tend to bring the out 'vamp' in me. I start running around and biting people sans provocation. :-pYa know, if you send me a headshot, I MIGHT be able to draw you as a vampire *waggles eyebrows* I cannot always draw a person and it look like them... but I can try!!!! :-PAnyhoo! Thankies for droping by! Love you lots! *hugs* "

Whooo!!!! Those are wonderful, Liz! I'm so proud! Sniffsniff... 2 I miss you but hey at least I get to see your stuff now even if I don't get to see you! Still planning on SCAD? Definitely looking forward to the next set, though I must say my fave may have to be "Fae in the wind". and yes the title is quite amusing. 12 Love ya Lizzie!

15 Elizabeth G. Dodd replies: "Thankies, Heather!!! *hugs* SCAD will have to wait... I'm helping my prof. @ Wesleyan with acquiring an art major ^_^ Yayness! If you end up going to the 80s night thingie, then perhaps I WILL get to see you 2 Anyhoo! Check back occasionally for new artness! Thanks for stopping by! Much love to the Heather 2"

That's some great art you show in your gallery. I like especially your She-wolf. You should definitely let your gallery grow a lot!

1 Elizabeth G. Dodd replies: "Thanks so much ^-^ I can never get too many comments! I hope to enlarge my gallery soon, so check back sometime 2 "

I so totaly understand you there on the subject of artistic inspiration. Many a great idea has indeed been born during boring lectures. I think you have a nice style here in your gallery and you have a good sense for details and shading. Your strongest pieces are definitelly "Elven archer" and "she wolf" I think. Very well made. And so is your latest addition "Sara". Keep up the work. 1

:-) Elizabeth G. Dodd replies: "Sorry it's taken me so long to reply! Eeek! Thanks so much for the lovely comments ^_^ It's true about doodling during lectures *lol* I swear, I've done some of my best work while professors drone on and on and on *shudders* Once again, thanks so much for commenting! "
