This is a night wolf (AKA shadow wolf). A type of lycanthrope that is very bat-like as well as wolf. Night wolves were once normal werewolves but discovered the secret to eating vampire hearts. When a normal werewolf eats a vampire heart they gain years on their mortal lives and inherit bat like qualities. They become sane and retain their intellect while in werewolf form. They take on certain traits that make them better at hunting vampires. On top of the strange ears and features they have a third form that is the same as the form you see here but instead of arms they have huge membranous wings like that of a bat, which in tern allows them to fly. So they are in sort a natural (or supernatural) enemies to vampires. In human form they look very regal pale and have minor fangs with slightly pointed ears so they are often mistaken as vampires which is to their advantage as they are really wolves in "sheeps" clothing, mutch like their vampire prey were used to being. Night wolves are not undead but the more hearts they eat the more longer they live and more power they acquire. The more powerful the vampire the more years they get added and the more power they gain. Some of them are extremely supernatural creatures of ancient years,
Diago here is a very old night wolf . He is a Spanish lord who was long before that a roman legionaire. He became a werewolf and flee society in fear of his curse as it killed his family. Naturally he came across a tomb in his many years and fought a vampire and won. Consuming the vampires heart secured the vampires death to be never again raised, mutch like a perminent steak, and also gave him sanity in whereform. He had physically changed as well and discovered the supernatural connection between vampire and werewolf. Now he has consumed many many vampire hearts and has many strange powers to turn to shadow forms, walk on walls and ceelings, detect living and unliving, and can even discorporate. His natural immunity to vampirc gaze and curse make him the ultimate vampire killing machine, but he knows there are those ancient ones as he is that have the potential to kill him as well. So it is a precarious chess game he plays with his pawns and strategy against other equally ancient vampires. They can't sent vampire minions after him as they have figured he would WANT that to happen. So werewolf hunters are often hired out to kill him. No matter what power Diago has his on e unchanging weakness is silver.
Hope you guys dig this new lycanthrope. I have it copywritten and hope to sent the concept to wizzard of the coast.

I'm surprised there's no comment yet - this guy's very cool. Awesome drawing but also I really enjoyed reading the background on him and night wolves too, what a cool concept.

This is awesome, like a werewolf who drank Vampire blood or something! Very nice.
