Another commission for Vvlkn on Deviantart, depicting an earlier scene from his dragon's life.  He's returning to this city as something of an ally and the general idea is the knights and soldiers out practising have just espied his approach.
This was an epic one - the original inked, pencil-shaded drawing is on A3 bristol board (so way bigger than I normally work!) and then the Photoshop file is HUUUUUGE!  Still, I enjoyed it and it took me a little out of my comfort zone - lots of people in one picture, perspective, buildings... still I'm very happy with the end result  :)

Whoa, what a stunning scene! I notice the rain in the distance--great effect! All the knights charging is quite dramatic. ^_^ And, just, all the shading and everything... *whistles*
