For those who liked my Harald Hårfagre character here is his soul mate, source of inspiration and strenght. 
 
If he was a semi-God (in my painting),  Gyda Eirikisdatter is like a fairy, an almost mystical figure who has the beauty of Hordaland and the likeness of the spring.
 
I’ve chosen to paint her hair like a waterfall to associate with a “never-ending” source of love, support and inner-power for Harald.
