The tools I use for metal/shading/smudge is stomps( piece of rolled compressed soft paper/other material, can be found in assorted art shops, makes pencil shading x10 easier). To smudge the area want to be metallic and then use an eraser where you want the shine/reflection to be, and then carefully work the "edges" with the stomper. Of course you can use your fingertips to do this to. After the picture is done and scanned, use the contrast toggle on a picture viewer so all the excess smudge fades away, but not to much so the other details disappears, then it’s done. Since you seem to have experience with Picture Editors I’d also recommend the light/dark tool to amplify the reflections making them more shiny in contrast to the metal."

But if they lose, I want one of those chicken legs!! Really good contrast between the soft feathers and hard metal armor. Mats A. Öberg replies: "Thank you Tom Actually Sweden don’t have any KFC restaurants which would mean the chicken knights already won or the battle haven’t started. But any case the outcome is/was obvious >=)"

| 2 Mar 2010 | Daniela Black Phoenix Irimiash | Loading...... Then how should it be called, due to the fact that it’s a chicken? Oups...*looks scared at the angry warrior domestic bird*... In sense of animal not coward! Lol this reminds me of a joke: A mad dude goes to the doctor and tells him that he’s a grain. The doctor does what he does, autosugestion, hypnosis etc. and lets the guy to go home. Ten minutes he’s back in the cabinet scared to death, saying: "Doctor there’s a chicken outside!" P.S.: Awsome pic, great armour! Mats A. Öberg replies: "Thanks Good for him that he’s a grain, this chicken eats only humans >=D" | |

Öberg replies: "Thanks a lot, really appreciate it I try to design the armour as logic and functional as possible when drawing them. Not that I know how they would work if they actually were made "
