SciFi and Fantasy Art Bloodthirster (negative) by Ivan Bong

This picture was influenced by fond memories of combat cards when I was a young boy. I can still vaguely remember the bloodthirster (from Games Workshop) picture and from then on, it was my favourite card (I deny that it being the second most powerful card in the game had anything to do with it!). Anyway, about 10 years on, this is my interpretation of the old bloodthirster (I prefer the old bloodthirster to the new one). Like most of my pictures, it's not finished yet!

Love the muscle work, especially in the negative for some reason, and it gets over the only real problem I have with the old Bloodthirster models (namely, the fact that no self-respecting Bloodthirster would be pictured with its tongue stuck out). Full marks.
