Tom is the Draco Noir of the Dragonvale

Likes to play electronic drums and Keyboard and few other instuments. I draw and write and paint, mostly in acrylics . Already a fan of Elfwood, since my wife enjoys it so much. I often feel like an anachronism, born either too far in the future or not enough in the past!I am happly married to the Purple Dragoness.

Interests
Music, Playing it and writing music and songs. Art, lizards [especially Dragons] and Cats.Enjoy cooking occasionally, though Lynn cooks better than me.I am concerned about enviornmental issues , solar power, time travel, cryptozoology, cactus and xeriscaping. Fascinated by steam locomotives, old cars, antique tractors and sail boats. Intrigued by Lake Monsters, Nessie in particular.And I have to admit, really like tractor pulls! Is that not a strange combination of interests?

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
All kinds of Star Trek and Star Wars, also old time Sci Fi movies.Even hokey ones,but really like classics like Forbidden Planet , mostly because of Robbie the Robot. And one must never forget the many incarnations of Godzilla! also miss Beauty and the Beast[Ron Perlman t.v. series] and Manimal.Oh, like Shrek and most Animated old Disney fairy tales. Also like some Amine and Manga, mecha and historical i enjoy most.

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
Jules Verne, Anne Mccaffrey, [probably misspelled] Arthur Conan Doyle,and yes, I admit it, when i was younger , Amimorphs!Classics of fantasy-Arabian Nights,Grimm's Fairy Tales, and Hans Christian Anderson.Also enjoy Native American tales and fables. In fact we enjoy reading fables and stories from cultures around the world.

Favorite Music
Beatles, Dire Straights James Taylor, some Jazz and a lot of Blues. Actually , I have very eclectic taste in music, and enjoy Celtic, Classical and Techno as well as some Country , Polka, Western, Salsa, Chicken Scratch and a little Steam Punk. And if it's all electronic, I like it even better.Yeah, I know, I'm weird.

At one point, I said I would never have another pet, because it hurt so bad when they died. But we have had many since then, and even through the pain of losing them, you remember the joy they brought you. Maybe in time you can get another dog- it will never be the same , but just like people, animals have unique talents and abilities- And often will remind you in some ways of the pet you lost. Our sympathies are with you and your family- A big hug to you all."

18 Nov 2009	John R Farley Jr	Loading... Hi Tom, you like different music, try this. I heard this song once on the radio in 1980 and it was my quest to find it. I found it, a double album by a group called, Sky. The song was Toccatta, that spooky sounding organ piece by Bach. It’s really beautiful piece once it gets going. Well, this version is by Sky, and they use keyboards, drums, and guitars. It has to the top-5 of my favorite songs. Love the bass guitar in this too. Click on the link to hear it. 20 Nov 2009	Mark Boston	Loading... Yeah. My cat does that alot. I dont really mind, but its when you get scratch marks all over the keyboard that bothers me. Luckily, she hasnt deleted anything of mine yet. At least, I hope not... I’d better go and check- Tom Draco Noir Taylor replies: "scratch marks-! Perhaps she is secretly contacting the Mother Ship as well- just clever enough to hide the evidence! Klingon actually deleted over a hundred of Lynn’s files, but thankfully she had them backed up on disc.Hey, have you been affected by the flooding? It has seemed really bad on the news. Meanwhile we are still having a drought. We should be able to work out weather trades somehow"
