SciFi and Fantasy Art Nekuros: Desdemona by Jonathan Franz

Queen of the evil Legion Nekuros, Desdemona's natural ability to raise the dead by touch is amplified by a mysterious machine called the Necromajig. Though powerful, she is extremely naive and childlike, more interested in getting attention and having fun than anything else. If the world doesn't revolve around her, she'll make it so or see it burned to a crisp.

Yes, after years of not doing so I have actually decided on a semi-permanent look for her. It combines all the previous versions with some unnamed background characters I had lying around.

The mummy-wrappings are actually part of her body and can be controlled as tentacles.

The writing on the blade is mostly unreadable specks but I do know what it says.

...I think beehive hair is cool...

My second pick would be the chick with the "horn of plenty" hat closest to the upper left corner. Dont be so hard on yourself scetches arent supposed to be perfect theyre rough ideas

28 Jul 2003	Jennifer Adcock	Loading... This is definitely the best version yet...and if I'm not mistaken the writing on the blade reads, "If you can read this, you should be dead." That's great. And yes, I've trained my eyes for use on extremely miniscule things, painting 28mm pewter fantasy figures for fun. Painting their eyes has left me with a permanent squint. Which, people tell me, makes me look like a very young Clint Eastwood. Jonathan Franz replies: "And the back end of it says ' Nekuros™ '"
