Jay w simcox replies: "Im pleased you like the blades. On a picture like this the whole sword cant be seen, so i made sure the handles gave the impression that they were weapons of quaility. I hope that carried across to some extent. I might revisit this picture in time and add a back ground. Thanks for the comment."

The colors are great too... And I agree with the commenter above, the picture is bagging for a background. Jay w simcox replies: "I actually drew this picture as an avatar for the Neverwinter Nights RPG game which i play with my brother (who plays Rammer) and my friend Leigh (who plays Shard). The game has a great engine which allows players to create their own characters and import their own character portrates. Because of the size these portrates are scaled down to within the game, a back drop would not have translated well so i decided to just go with the colour grade effect in the end. As an avatar this works perfectly, but i think i may revisit this picture and add a background in time. Im putting a lot of time and thought into this character at the moment so its nice you'v come to reconise him too "
