Bjorn is an 8th level Cleric of Odin and as such acts like a fighter with spells. Mechanical Pencile on 11x14, cleaned in Painter Note: I have no idea what the runes on the belt mean, they're just there for flavor.

Excellent work, but I'm really here to tell you what your runes say. starting at the very top of the belt buckle: oe f u/v th os r c/k g w h(you weren't supposed to put another line in the middle) ng i j/y(but it's backwards) gh p z s t b e m l oe(but with tails like the one at the top) d

The double letters are in there because a few runes represent double letters - in fact there's no one rune that represents a single "o". You can pick up a book practically anywhere that can tell you rune translations. Usually in the "new age" section. This is rough translation becuase I'm sure differnt refrences may tell you slightly different.

The drawing really is wonderful, though. And I like the symbol in the center of his belt buckle. He isn't barbarian, is he?

Two problems: Your pelvises are always too defined (but hey, its fantasy, right?)
and yer hair is... Kinda... Straight-up*snap*down. Did that make sense?

:-) Jacob Walker replies: "Going to have to disagree with you on the definition of pelvises, those characters that I have drawn who have obviously defined pelvises are highly defined men. I’ve been paying close attention to such details recently and trying to capture it correctly. Not saying I’ve done so, I’m still not satisfied with my artwork, but I think I’m getting closer. As far as the hair, no idea what that means so I can’t comment but I feel that it’s more of an issue with my style than any thing. I appreciate your comment; though I’m likely to remove this picture shortly, due to the fact that I really hate the anatomy issues with it, so it may vanish in the near future."

How come I see the runes differently...I thought It was D O F U/0 Th A R C W/V H N I J S P Y/(z) S T B E M L? I thought NG was like two >< intersecting? i'VE BEEN WRITING WRONG THIS WHOLE TIME?????!!!!!!!!! aaaack! *slaps self!*

Re: Hair up *snap* hair down, and think they were trying to say it didn't look realistic...but this was done t-shirty styleish, correct? In which case there would be an element of...non-realism...(your 'style' as you mentioned) which would create this. Can't define every hair on a t-shirt 12 Although I must say I prefer the other version, except for the cloak...I think this cloak rocks 12

Hi Jacob. great picture. I guess u used every rune in Futhark, right? To be correct i think this is older futhark. Good picture. and the sign on the belt is called Odins horns which represent Odin himself. I have this sign on Odins throne in one my pic of Odin here on Elfwood. Nice work.
