The sword belonging to a dark elf lord called Belcheim Tenezion, of house Ta'karichi. The inscription (only half seen here) reads:

'Dreams of terror
Dreams of fear
Now among you
Death is here
'

(Yes it's a bad poem, I know, but hey, I'm an artist, not a poet)
The drawing is 40cm (16', an entire A3) long.
Black ink, 6B and 8B pencils, '02

Just had to say it: You got skillz. Man, you seriously kick A** with your ability to draw swords. I must admit, that your creature creations are no where near on par as what you can do to form steel from paper. Your designs are imaginitive, yet look functional. Truely, I envy j00r l33t skillz. Hee hee.

:-) Jacob S Wendel replies: "Cool.. I didn’t even know I had any l337 skillz..."

Oh yeah, the sword is good. The edges of the blade itself are very good, I think it’s how it should look. I vote for the first poem. It’s more sinister, more cynical. I like that better ;-).

:-) Jacob S Wendel replies: "I seem to have removed the second poem, and can’t really remember what it was."

Wow, that’s an amazing sword. It kind of looks like an ancient blade you’d find in an archaeology dig somewhere. Well, I like the first poem better, it just fits the sword better.

48 Jacob S Wendel replies: "I guess so... removed the second version of the poem."

Wow! Wicked literally... Cool

:-) Jacob S Wendel replies: "Thank you."

I like the energy that radiates from this blade

It looks as though the blade may be made from perhaps some kind of Stone, maybe Obsidian or something else...

I like it a lot, the edges are done quite precisely.

:-) Jacob S Wendel replies: "To be honest, I cheated with the edges and used a ruler. The drawing is really big."

the sword is a wonder
like most wonders,
it weilds a power
the power to kill

It’s a thing to behold..
the blade like a flame,
it draws you in
mingling that wonder and fear

before you can blink
it chooses you as it’s servant
demanding, haunting
begging for it’s blood sacrifice

It is a thing... and when you are chosen, you become a thing as well....

:-) Jacob S Wendel replies: ""It is a thing... and when you are chosen, you become a thing as well..." - I really need to steal that sentence for something."

Man this sword is the business nice work

:-) Jacob S Wendel replies: "Personally I like the 'Artificer Blade' better, which makes sense since it's a newer incarnation (perhaps not an appropriate word for a metal object, but it will suffice) of the same concept."
28 May 200645 BOB the bastard
I’d stick with your poem, u may not be a poet but at least yours doesn’t suck as bad as Mellissa ’ Nymphy’ Braus’s attempt.

I love all your drawings especially this one.

:-) Jacob S Wendel replies: "Hmm, contextual multi-insulting. Interesting."
