This stained glass window can be found at Nirhof, the royal castle in the kingdom of Nifir. All other windows in the castle portray old kings of the realm, or simply the landscape you would have seen outside, had said windows not been made of stained glass (a very common motif in Nifir.) This window is different though, and all visitors and foreign emissaries who see it cannot help but wonder about the symbolism of its split imagery. The artist who made it left the kingdom soon after getting paid - perhaps for the best - and is thus not available to solve this mystery. Innumerable are the nights that Nifir's scholars and wise sages have spent pondering its meaning, and many a tavern brawl has been started over the subject.

It goes without saying that life in Nifir is very boring, and that nothing of interrest ever happens there.

OUCH your art is totally fantastic! I wish I had the confidence in my own drawings. How do you get the creativity flowing??? I mean how do you get the ideas for those awsome pictures? I draw a bit myself but since I have been able to scann for ...ohh 2 years now I only have old ones on my website8 . I really like the sunblade sword pic also!!
Wish I could also make the landscape in my story! LIke the castle you drew! OUCHOUCHOUCH!!!!

:-) Jacob S Wendel replies: "Then my advice is that you get yourself a scanner and an Elfwood gallery. Having somewhere to show your work makes you draw a lot more, and the more you draw the better and more inspired you get =)"

Looks great, love the look. Bet you any adventurers that lived in Nirhof and had been all over the realms, will not be complaining about boredom.

:-) Jacob S Wendel replies: "I’m not sure if Nifir has ever spawned that many adventurers."
