| 14 Sep 2002 | Andrea 'Silver1' Bodel | Hehe, I don’t like grammar either! Which is obvious cause the grammar in my stories stinks. I’m working on it though! Great work, I only read "The lesson" but I made up for it by leaving a comment He he! J. Gilbert Coates replies: "Thanks for stopping by! Namaste." | |

| 18 May 2003 | Kait | Your passion for writing is inspiring, thank you for sharing a special part of yourself with others. As a student of philosophy and religious studies, it’s nice to see that a small part of the East has leaked onto your nitch here at Elfwood: the use of the greeting and/or farewell, ’Namaste.’ It is a Hindu greeting and/or farewell, however, as the Buddhist’s foundation of being a radical religion comes from the belief of People as soul-less, without a divine essence within. I’m so sorry for being picky, I know it’s the thought behind the word and not the word itself that is important. I try to give credit where it’s due, though. Thanks again for your wonderful words! (: J. Gilbert Coates replies: "Please there is no need for an appology. I was unaware that it was a Hindi saying and not a Buddhist word. I realy wish to use it properly for it has been a beautiful part of my life. Thank you so much for your kind words! I am honored that you enjoyed your stay here. Namaste." | |
