SciFi and Fantasy Art Elfland Keepers by J. ´Jamberry´ Meyers

I finally replaced the old piece with this newer one, which was a photomanipulation one of two of my old drawings and an old painting, and slightly spritzed up a bit with photoshop. I really like the way it turned out. The elf in the forefront is my character, Jhal of Morinan, a member of a race from a world that my sister and I invented. I think there's some other pictures of him still floating around in my gallery here.

Oh, and to the person who commented about the spot of yellow - that would kind of defeat the purpose of a monochromatic piece, wouldn't it?

1 Sep 2004	Rainyday	Loading... I thought it was always winter in Narnia (until Aslan returned that is)?? I think the dark mood in this picture is stunning but when there's snow everywhere it is quite light out, even at night, b/c of the releftion of the stars and moon. I love the textured feel of the brushwork though... reminds me of a Van Gogh.. I know, I know... Van Gogh is cliche, but it does!
