You piictures are good you should colour them

Jakob Burrows replies: "No problem, and thanks for revisiting! These pics will probably remain black and white, but I have recently made some colored ones. Unfortunately, they aren't in the ticket I'm processing right now, so they probably won't be uploaded for at least a month."

Thanks for commenting in my gallery! Hmmmm rather than the usual "I love your work" I'd say you have a great style; your pencil lines are bold and brave but convey the shape of your characters well. I tend to use colossal amounts of tone and shadow to build up an image, it is very interesting to see how different people draw don't you think?

In your BIO you say you worry about copying all the time? I wouldn't as the ability to draw is only partially to do with imagination and is more about observation, the best fantasy artists are those who support the creations of their imagination with a foundation of realism.

Jakob Burrows replies: "I guess I got sick of publishing stuff on Elfwood's terms! I want to be able to add and remove and edit freely (which is useful for when you get sick of your pictures after a day or two).But I'll also blame the camera I got this summer - I've been focusing on recording videos instead of making pictures (you can check some of them out at www.livevideo.com/JakobBurrows)Other than that I've also tried to get a webcomic going - I'll send you the link if I actually manage to focus my energy on it for more than a week or so."

lol thanx for the comment on my gallery ~ Do you know about deviantart? on the previous comment here you mentioned you wanted to be able to edit your stuff more freely... So there you’d have it! I have a gallery there, it’s great lol Cheers!
