| 29 Mar 2006 | ''morgenstern'' - Wyvern's Library | Loading...I'm LOVING the background!!!!!!! If you don't do something with your art as far as professional stuff goes, it's criminal. Did you pull that name out of Irish mythology? Kudos if you did! James Carl McKnight replies: "Actually, Culhain is a character I created in a graphic novel I'm working on. This piece is actually the second panel from the opening page. Although Culhain is a Caanite (a fictitious people in the graphic novel), the name is semi- Celtic in origin. Thanks for the comment!!" | |
| 29 Mar 2006 | Nathaniel S. Weaver | Loading...I love it. How did you do the mist of the waterfall? I really like the clouds, too. James Carl McKnight replies: "The mist was done with PHOTOSHOP" | |
| 29 Mar 2006 | Ezra Urk the Gurk Fulford | Loading...fall! fall! fall! No, but seriously folks. This is a pretty darn awesome picture, especially done in pencil and all. I see less particular artists flying aroud the woods using color and photoshop (lots of photoshop) to conceal their crappy artwork in prime locations around the woods. I have nothing against crappy artwork really, it inspires me to make my work just a little bit better, but it's nice to see a truly nice peice. | |
| 3 Apr 2006 | Huntress Skyfire | Loading...I love it. The detail in this is absoloutley fantastic. Congrats on a well deserved Mods Choice! | |
| 20 Apr 2006 | Louise Lindgren | Loading...It's so inspiring everytime you have something new up in the gallery. Seeing such an elaborate and detailed piece always makes my want to try harder with my own stuff (especially when it comes to surroundings and/or nature) One cannot wonder what he sees as he's climbing the cliff there. Is he looking for a good foothold or has he seen someone down there that's caught his attention? Surely we will never know. Keep up the good work, James. James Carl McKnight replies: "Thank you, Louise. Your words are quite inspiring to me, as well." | |
| 3 Sep 2006 | Diana | Loading...He is kind of tough looking for a half elf. Gorgeous background, and good job on a difficult pose. | |
| 20 Aug 2007 | RobbieG | Loading...Breathtakingly realistic scenery. Don't fall little man!
I know he's not at all little, what I mean is he's dwarfed by the impressive mountains. | |
| 6 Nov 2008 | Wayne H. Hodge | Loading...Another good one. Not only did you do an excellent job on the character you did an excellent job on the background. | |
