Wow. This is awesome. Those creatures look grotesque and the enwiroment is so dreamlike. Poor guy, They must have taken them by surprise. Sandro (my necromancer from Diablo2) killed hundreds of simillar creatures, and he's OK. Oh, right almost forgot the FIRST COMMENT TANGO!

maybe you can say that the creatures are telepathic and that the one holding the man is paralizing him or poisening him or sending painfull visions into his brains or something...
and that it is therefor that the man can't use his sword.

just a tought of course, and about the drawing itself, I think it's really really really ... cool!

Wicked. Cool. 1

The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't make sense. The sword is long enough for the guy to try to slash the creature through as soon as he is grabbed. He just seems to be holding it... like a feather-duster.

drools....pencil work...haven't seen for *gasp* soo long. love the work.scenery, monsters, swords...everything that I remember from artists like Frank Frazetta. An artistry I thought lost but with a slight modern graphic novel twist. Love the work12
