It's cool, because it's like a Victorian faerie painting meets something out of a nightmare. I'd forgotten how nasty insects could look close to. Dragonflies are actually really vicious predators, so I wouldn't want to be that faerie.

The shading here is stunning. What medium did you use? Was this all done on the computer, or did you begin in pencil or what? Whatever it is, it's terrific!

Great concept. It looks like the dragonfly's tring to hit the brakes so to speak. The pixies' expresions are hilarious.
