SciFi and Fantasy Art Dragon´s Wing by James Elliott Whitley


	Well I started this with the intention of a detailed wing. I like this picture in that it's got nice detial, but I honestly don't like the proportion of the wing. I wanted to make it bigger, but I ran out of paper space. I guess I learned to map it out before-hand. Though I did this, the head for me is too big for it's body, and the wing is too small. But I've gotten over it. :) Done in 2003.

The details of the anatomy give this dragon something greatly real. I fear he would jump on me. You're a life giver! You're probably one of the best in the galleries of Elfwood! You are a genius or I'm crazy! Good work!

WOW!! i wish i could draw like you!! the dragon seems so real!!! its so cool! -its prettyful-im kinda scared of it its scarey James Elliott Whitley replies: "Thank you very much. When I first drew this I thought it was a huge leap for me... I think it's only ok now, why? Lets just say I need to update sometime again. I'll probably need to open up a Fanz account. 17 Sep 2004	Martin l krieger	Loading... Wow! Did you do this with a pencil? I know it can be done, and i can create work like this with only a pencil, but i just dont have the patience! That is amasing! If i could do all of my works with that much detail i would be satisfied! You seem to be able to create better works now, or so you say. But i realy would stop trying to improve after i learned to create all of my works with that kind of mastery... (shows my attitude towards art...) drop by please!
