This is just another version of triforce that I did the same year. I can't say this is my favorite picture, but I did like the way the shading came out. I used pecils and tortilions for ths peice. Done in 2001^.

They weren't robots in Minority Report. Do we now guess what movies are about and don't even bother seeing them? Anyway, I love the shading. I think it's the best part about the piece. The exaggerated anatomy and the overall style is very interesting. The triangle-feel is very renaissance of you. For criticism, the whole piece is slightly tilted to the right, although that was probably just an error in the scanning. The pyramid at the bottom is off-center and not quite equilateral as well. But in the overall scheme of things, these problems are minute. Excellent work

Cool and somewhat disturbing at the same time! Very well done and great shading!!

This reminds me of a particular artist and some various other pictures that I greatly admired. The artist's signature seemed to be something like 'Leyo' or 'Lerjo'...and the other guys' names I didn't bother to find out.

As for Big Head, just zip it!

Have you read/watched the Dune series? (Frank Herbert)
Because if you have, I can see it's influence in this peice and it's predecessor. If not, you should look into it, because it will probably appeal to you.

I like the pic you also made it like a ritualistic type of pic. Good job.

Trippy, I can see a lot of thought went into this. Very nice.

Wow it totally reminds me of the Borg Queen from StarTrek...excellent detail!

Soo... black and white boring to me most the time. As you can see, I've attepted to color some pictures, but those are some of the oldest pictures on here. Look forward to seeing new stuff in the near future. thanx again anyway!"

oooooooooooooh man! MORE IS COMING?!?! thats amasing. as ive already said, if i could put this kind of detail into all of my peices, i would quit striving for higher skill levels! Tortilions ROCK!

:-) James Elliott Whitley replies: "Thanx for all the comments Martin, I plan on putting up a website of my own soon so I can update a little easier. I'll take a look at your works and probably drop a line or two. thanx again!"

Dear god it's like Giger, and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. Absolutely otherworldly. Fantastic.
