	Ferda, a priestess of the nature god O-Hal, is visited by her own god, as well as by the banished elf godess Memphea. Memphea's high priestess Sydhianne, here still in her disguise as a human girl, is watching. Memphea once gave Ferda the power to resurrect the dead. O-Hal wishes her to abandom this gift, while Ferda wants to keep it.
