Tag As FavoriteComment		This picture was published in the dutch magazine 'Religie en Mystiek'. The girl is a shaman. She has been meditating and now she is visited by her totum animal, the snail.

Very thought provoking...what do snails really mean?

I like the style; it kind of reminds me of old-fasioned graphic novels. And that's a good thing, at least coming from me.

:-) Jana Weijers replies: "Thanks.I have no idea what snails mean. At the time, I was visiting a shaman with a group of people. The shaman asked us if we had an animal that that was special to us. Everybody said they liked "cool" animals like wolves and foxes and there was one girl who said she really liked snails. So that's why I drew this picture. "
