Jana Weijers

Hi, my name is Jana and I'm from the Netherlands. Right now I'm a stay-home mom . Fantasy and story's are my great passion.

I like to illustrate my own story's. Most the pictures posted here are from an email roleplaying story about a group of mercenary's: Dhowran, Sifra, Komi, Rovren and Ferda.

Dhowran is a half-elven warrior. He is the leader of the group. He is extravert, emotional and tends to brood.  He doesn't trust most spiritual and magical things and he is allergic to authorities and heroics. Sifra is a half-elven warrior, too. She is very strong, not very smart and she is caring. She is always loyal to Dhowran, even if she knows he is wrong. Komi is an elven warrior. He is enthousiastic, flexible and kind. He is always in for something new and exiting and he likes almost everything and everybody. Rovren is an elven firemage, but he is afraid of his own power. He is also very good with animals. He likes to mend socks. He is a loner who doesn't like people. He doesn't understand social rules and doesn't care about them. He tends to be a bit sarkastic . Ferda is the daughter of Dhowran and a human woman named Mardun. She studies to be a priestess of O-Hal, the exiled human god of nature. She is friendly and idealistic but sadly lacks any empathy. He always wants to do good and help others. She thinks very high of morale and etiquettes.

There are also illustrations of other people's story's in here, mostly books that I've read.

I also have a lot of character designs in my gallery. I enjoy drawing different body types and different faces. I think many shapes and sizes are beautifull and I try to capture that.

Recently I don't draw as much as I would like to. I publish new stuff on my deviantart gallery, because there is more space there. janaweijers.deviantart.com/

I am very inspired by other artists. My favourites are: Hausmann, John Bauer, Comes, Servais, Franz, Andreas, Loisel, Jean Dulieu, Yslaire, Frank.
