I'm wondering what was in the vile at their feet? poison? or is it a really bloody dagger? It looks like the girl sacrificed herself and the dragons heart is breaking...whatever the sacrifice, it's beautiful.

This makes me think of Drakengard. When Angelus the dragon dies, so does Caim due to the pact between them. Although, what I said isn't called a sacrifice.
