It looks very cold, almost as if she was looking out of the window at early dawn. Arukael pretty much captures my image of the Michaelites. She looks serious and yet kind. Due to the hairdo she like all members of her orders appears kind of genderless without being masculine or even ugly. Very well done! Stefanie Kern replies: "I can't believe I haven't answered you yet... well, I guess I might have refered to this IRL but it's so impolite of me *sobs* I'm sorry...ANNERSCH!"

| 2 Aug 2005 | Trevor Mathis | Loading...I think that this is a very good piece. The hair is fine as far as blondes go. The face and body structure are fitting for an 8 y/o girl. My only question is why the single armored shoulder plate? If there was more armor I wouldn't have asked but I was simply curious that's all. Stefanie Kern replies: "It is part of the RPG "Engel" that Michaelites (the order she belongs to) have a single shoulder plate, which the young angels decorate themselves, so it is not, that I was to lazy to draw the rest of the armor. At least, they still have to fly and I believe, that 8 y/o children just aren't strong enough to soar with all the weight of a full armor. Thanks for your comment " | |

Stefanie Kern replies: "Though my reply comes late: Thanks for your comment. My intention was to give her a very puppet- like appearance and a doll- face. I'm glad I didn't fail and you like it. "
| 17 Feb 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...This reminds of me of Joan of Arc for some reason. I'm not exactly sure why. I like it though, very nice. Stefanie Kern replies: "Maybe it's the hairdo or the image of the innocent warrior? Thanks for your commie. " | |
| 26 Feb 2006 | Elinor C. Kettle | Loading...wow. This is a very skillfully done picture! Its very powerful, and she seems almost sad yet determined, i think. Did you do this with watercolours? If so Im doubly in awe, as I cant use any type of paint to save my life! Keep drawing!! Stefanie Kern replies: "Heya Elinor! Thanks for your comment and first of all: No: I haven't done this is watercolour. I do most of my pictures with coloured oil pencils from Faber Castell called "Polychromos". They are damn expensive but they're worth it. My only pic done in watercolours is the one with the deep sea merman on it- but I'm working on others." | |
