Inspired by James Milligans pic "D&D 3E Racial Height/Weight Comparison:Male" http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/art/e/d/edward2/racechartmalef1.jpg.html I decided to do the same, and seeing how many people FREAKED OUT with the depictions of nude men I am forced to quote from Mr. Milligans page since he is far more eloquent than I:

Read this before you comment!

Before anyone jumps all over me for posting a pic filled with seven nude male figures, I want to remind you that people post pics of nude females on Elfwood ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME, so step off and relax yourself. There's no 'explicit' depictions of sex, nothing that can be construed as porn, and no erect penises in this pic, so I don't want to hear it. I am in no way violating Rule #9 of the ERB, which reads:

9.Blatant pornography is not tolerated on Elfwood. While the naked form is a beautiful thing, and is accepted in Elfwood, suggestive poses that blatently expose the genetalia in an explicit manner will never be accepted.

That being said I also want to state that I modified some of the average height/weights on some of the player races, specifically the Half Orc. In my campaign world I have orcs being taller and bulkier than humans. Also, I made Halflings more "hobbit"-like, keeping with the spirit of 1st and 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons.

It appears that I’m taller than the Half-Orc by a good few inchs.
And do all Elves lack the ability to grow body hair?

shame but in north america men are taught to be ashamed of their ****s at an early age...circumcision! hello! so the mere sight of a **** sends something akin to terror through the more adolescent-like minds of those men who have not learned to accept their ****s for what they are,,,,which is basically no big deal! Its just an apendage, like a finger or nose,,,no big deal...european males DO NOT have these hangups,,,just in north american where most grown men are still sadly, little boys!

:-) Matt Jarrett replies: "TOTALLY agree. I am growing weary of the immature comments about naked girls and me including male genitalia in my illustrations. I wish I could tell everyone to grow up and get over it. "

by the way, great art...ive created similar myself, i mean, for a minuite i actually thought someone had wrippe3d me off....ive done simimlar using ogres and trills as well...anyway, great job on the shading...although my guys had bigger ****s...if your gonna put it out there anyway, might as well make em proud!!! lol

:-) Matt Jarrett replies: "I made em averagely hung according to their height, except for the half-orc whom I made pretty well hung, but according to my gaming world orcs (and half-orcs) are typically a lot more "gifted" in that area than the other humanoid races.

The average male is between 4 inches to 7 inches long, and is roughly 65%-85% of that length flaccid. I drew everyone proportionate to their height and gave them average sized wangs. I’m not trying to be pornographic or else I’d make them all hung like porn stars (and I’d have given the women bigger boobs). "

Hey umm this has nuthin to do with ur awsum pict but Is 7 and 9 too young to play dnd 4e ?............................................................- - .............................................................- - .............................................................- - .............................................................- - .............................................................- - ............20

:-) Matt Jarrett replies: "D&D is a role-playing game. Each game requires a narrator (a Dungeon Master) who creates the adventures and oversees the rules of the game. Then there are the players, the ones who go through the adventure. Players create a character, whose abilites are defined by a numerical score to establish what a character can or can’t do. Dice rolls are used to enforce an unbiased outcome to events (such as how much damage a sword strike will inflict, etc). I call role-playing games "Cooperative stroytelling". The Dungeon Master (DM) lays out the world and provides the story backdrop, while the players get to be the heroes of the story. Imagine what it would be like to be Aragorn from Lord of the RIngs for a day, and that’s what it’s like.

So...is it okay for 7 year olds. Probably not. My reason being that at age 7 and 9...well, they don’t handle very well things that don’t go their way, and in D&D, things rarely go the way that players want. The DM frequently gets outwitted by the players, and the players are quite frequently beset with obstacles to their goals. Essentially, RPG’s (role-playing games) are all about learning that there are consequences for every decision that you make, a concept young children have yet to develop. Older kids will understand that its part of the story, younger kids will likely throw a tantrum and the evening that was intended to be fun will turn into a nightmare. I’d wait until they are 12 or 13 before introducing them into any RPG.
