| 22 Feb 2009 | Vic | Loading...I like the way she is done and the overall work is great, but with that said; the two men to the left of her in the light shirts look like someone or something is going to kill them... why is that... oh yes, if you look around so do some of the others?????? Matt Jarrett replies: "In the original pic she was topless, they are gawking at her boobs" | |
| 1 Mar 2009 | Silverray | Loading...I saw the other picture years ago and I think I like this one more. | |
| 14 Apr 2009 | Zaorish | Loading...The two dudes on the left look pretty dismayed, I feel sorry for them but can’t figure out why they’re so dissappointed. Maybe because you drew the bikini on? | |
| 28 Apr 2009 | Jenny | Loading...I love this pic although i think that those who had a problem with the original one were just having issues with there own sexuality and the fact that it put dirty thoughts in their heads - closet pervs r the worst hipocrits! and the women who had issues with strippers r just stupid, it is a job get a life! They were prolly just jelous that they r too fat and ugly to dance. - lol and yes i am a stripper | |
| 28 Apr 2009 | Jenny Anderson | Loading...LOL i agree with the other Jenny. The women were just jelous, they don’t have the bodies to strip so they make an issue out of women stripping, it makes sence in the story line so screw them. Let them return to crying naked in front of the mirror. I do however think that the guys in the audience seems a bit more mordified than they do slack jawed. | |
| 14 May 2010 | Kurt Le Courtois | Loading...I love the secondary movement in this! It seems so alive. I think the parts that gave it that extra oomph is her skirt trailing behind her movements and the guy in the foreground raising his fist. And the realistic portrayal of her dancing too.
What brand of colored pencils do you use? Prisma? Matt Jarrett replies: "yup. Prismacolor. It’s better than the other brands I’ve tried. A few years back they changed the oil content or something because they sort of disintigrated as I drew. Fortunately they returned to their original formula. I use full pressure blend to simulate paint and help blending. Thanks for noticing about the illusion of movement I drew in this picture. Most people focus on the boobs instead of where I spent the most time trying to simulate; cloth spinning and twirling. "
| 4 Jun 2010 | Alan | Loading...I think you should post the original back up as well. Let those people complain, for some, it’s their form of entertainment because they have nothing better to do.
And even then, you have the backstory to the picture right there! If they don’t like it, tough. It’s a character that you played in a game and that’s how she was, it’s role playing. And I agree with both Jenny’s. Matt Jarrett replies: "Visitors to my gallery simply freak out when it comes to nudity. Just check out the ridiculous comments they leave on my "AD&D Height/weight" pics, and those are pics of people just standing, not stripping like the old "Joanna Dancing" pic. I delete immediately the more obscene comments, but it does get on my nerves after a while."
| 9 Dec 2010 | Maya ileana | Loading...Joanna is a sexy woman..i like your work..but why the two men on the left looking like that?thanks.. Matt Jarrett replies: "In the original drawing she had just taken her top off and the guys in the audience were gawking at her boobs. I have since used Paintshop Pro to change the picture so that she still has her clothes on. Why I did that was because of the amount of rude and immature comments about her boobs was beginning to get on my nerves." | |
| 18 Jan 2011 | Anon. | Loading...i think this is a beautiful piece and im sure the original was just as good. never feel the need to censor your artwork | |
| 30 Sep 2011 | Michelle | Loading...I think that it is beautiful, it’s a shame that people have nothing better to do than be critical...maybe they are just jealous
Anyway, you are very talented, I love the picture
