This is yet another pic of Joanna. She always had an extensive wardrobe of adventuring outfits, all of which flaunted her extraordinary figure most flatteringly. Some old AD&D players will recognize the outfit from the cover of the 1st edition Dungeon Masters Guide; worn by the girl held by the Efreeti. Her magical staff was called the Staff of Rage, a potent melee weapon that also amplified her already impressive magical ability.

9 Dec 2005	Assaf Shtilman	Loading... Really good pic, the hair is well done. I like the body proportions, she's not too thin. The neck though could be a bit slimmer, but otherwise - very beautiful. Matt Jarrett replies: "I've been kinda sucky at drawing necks, so I've been practicing drawing them, making them thinner and stuff, more feminine. Future sketches will see a vast improvement than my earlier stuff."

14 Oct 2006	Faust XIII	Loading... What kind of enchantment does her staff have? If she is going to stay safe with a body like that, she had better be ready to fight. Matt Jarrett replies: "Her staff was called the Staff of Rage, and was designed to make any sorcerer a dangerous opponent in combat. Powerless in the hands of any other class, the Staff did twice the amount of damage as a regular staff and had a chance of stunning an opponent for a few minutes (or rounds, as D&D puts it). So in D&D terms it does 1d8 points of damage, and another 1d8 in magical damage. There is a 1 in 6 chance (roll 1d6) that a successful hit will stun the opponent for 1d4 rounds (or minutes). Also it can dimly illuminate a 60' radius area. "
1 May 2008	Anon.	Loading... Is there any other magic items on her? I know she was an NPC, but what level and class is she? Matt Jarrett replies: "She later became a PC of mine. In 1st edition AD&D, Joanna was dual classed; she reached 9th level as a magic-user, then she started her thief career and by the time I stopped playing she was a 11th level Thief. She has a potent Ring of Regeneration, Bracers of Defense AC2, Ring of Warmth, a Phylactery of Proof vs. Protection and Location, a unique short sword called Spider Bite that combines the power of a plus 3 Shortsword of Quickness and a Dagger of Venom. It also can illuminate an area of 60’ on command. She wears a cloak that acts as a Cloak of Arachnidia and also acts as a Periapt of Proof vs. Poison and gave her plus 3 to her AC. She owns a Bag of Holding (35 lbs.), and a plus 3 Crossbow. That Staff she has in the picture she didn’t have near the end of her career. It was called the Staff of Rage. Joanna’s main thing though is her inhuman comeliness, even though she is a human mortal. She had a 23 Charisma and a 29 Comeliness (Unearthed Arcana Rulebook)."
22 Feb 2009	Rebecca Kathryn Lane	Loading... You’ve got most of the anatomy down pretty well. My only criticism would be that when compared to the stomach and legs, the arms need a little more buff to them. Looks like a girl that can kick ass. the breastplate looks uncomfortable....O.o
