"Orc Scream" by Matt Jarrett

Actually I think he looks more like he's going to have an explosive sneeze. I look like that when I have a bad cold. =)

Wonderfully expressive! Its an up-close Orc and it -stays- an Orc, while with most other artists caricature spins out of control. This is a believable Orc.

The story.. I'm afraid you overdid the screaming/yelling because i am immediately struck by the thought that quite some pain is the cause of this. To me he is screaming rather then yelling or roaring, and its noise instead of a word.

Highly specific I with my warped mind would say..
He's done a crime, caught and at the time of the pic he's taking his medievel twenty strokes on a rather undignified spot (backside) before being flushed out of town.

Honestly the expression on the Orc's face looks to me like he's experiencing a jolt of intense pain in either violence or having an arrow removed (a la Shrek) and its especially his facial lines completely closing up in the center-eyes area that makes it look like pain to me.

Exceptionally expressive but alas i see a pain which you perhaps did not intend.

Like the Terminator Orc said: "Me go and be back!"

I would love to see a drawing of a metamorphosis from human to orc, this pic looks like th final painful phase of the transformation. Nice work, would love to see a luxuriously bearded orc.

Why is he screamming? Is he being stabbed it the gut buy a short sword or what?

This guy looks like one of the orcs from "Balmund Orc Sketches". Maybe he’s being taught a lesson about behavior towards prisoners, and what to do with them.
