A word to the lady fighters of Fantasyland: it isn't all about how gorgeous you look in metalworked lingerie ... there's more to you than that.

Came from Hungary, Male (Palladin) age: 20, lawfull Good

1st: In the medieval ages, it was rare for a female fighter to wear plate armour... and even for soldiers it was mutch too expensive. (1 for the amazon)
2nd: It was rare and quite risky for wemen to wear a clothing like that. So much ruffians on the roads, in the tawerns and so mutch people without any... education (1 for the armoured)
3:You are right, it is bad when wemen are only appretiated for their looking. (2 for the armoured)
411 hate erotic drawing and pics (3 for the armoured)
5:Medieval plater armours were designed to be agile thus the "armour check penalty" is way too mutch, the only crytical thing is the weight. And with thick clothes under it, it was as tough, a mere sword could not cut trough it. (4th for the armoured)
And... The armoured girl looks like if she had learned fencing from a 16-17th century master. (the other girly might only know how to swing)

This is 5 to 1 for the intellect one YAY!

Heh. I’ve played quite a few female fantasy RPG characters. Lightest armor? Well, one of them is an undercover assassin and only wears a soft leather *jacket* and leggings. The whole idea of going into combat without decent protection strikes me as real stupid. I want my characters to survive!

Of course if you really want to, the big bruiser in the party makes even better armor if he’s standing in front of you... 1

Finlly someone with a brain! Best idea ever... Why go halfnaked to battle? Better chance of survival behind some plate, chainmail or at least cloths!!! Some fantasy "warriors" looks sort of more like strippers then soldiers.. GO FEMINISM!!!

I doubt that a woman could run around in that without some intensive training...

Women are called ’the weaker sex’ for a good reason. No sexism intended, just pointing out facts.

:-) Jasmin Islam replies: "True enough. Though a man couldn’t run around in that without intensive training, either."

ah, of corse! what’s up with just the breast and crotch protection? though not that armour would do any good when someone comes jamming a meter steel sharp pointy thingy into your gut... it’s lights out when that happens (armour or not) good picture! it realy says something about the games and things these days

Thrawn (and Jasmine): Medieval blacksmiths were VERY skilled, the weight of an armour is evenly distrubuted over the whole body and the average weight of a full armour was 23 kg (52 pound). It was even possible for a fit man to turn a handstand wearing armour. So yes, you would need a lot of training, but a woman would defenitely make it. great pic! 1

Yep that is what happens LOL I for one don’t think women should fight.
